Dali Katch One - Big Sound, Chic Design
The Danish manufacturer is known to make stylish speakers at a rather affordable price point. With Dali’s new line of products, it’s pretty evident that Dali is ahead of its curve when it comes to innovation. As Tv’s are getting larger and consumers are spending more time indoors, there’s a lot more focus on enhancing TV audio. The Katch One is primarily designed to improve dialogues and make the sound of your Tv bigger, but it also enriches your music and gives depth to your favourite soundtracks.
It features a chic compact design with less than 3” of depth without compromising the sound thanks to its ten driver array powered by 4x50w of amplifier channels thus ensuring that it goes loud and packs a punch even for the most dynamic scenes.
We ended up testing the soundbar on its own and another round with the E-12F subwoofer from Dali. While the Katch One can play the quietest scenes to the most dynamic action sequences, it sounds much fuller with a subwoofer. The music kicked well as the bottom got more depth, and the authority of sound improved as there were no issues in time alignment either. The soundbar flushed the room with rich sound and gave reasonable control even at the peaks. We would recommend this without a thought to enhance your Tv’s shoddy sound and add character to your room’s ambience.
