Gaurav Gupta - Mehrauli

Fashion designer Gaurav Gupta opens his couture flagship in Qutub, Mehrauli. The 5000 sqft. atelier has 5 different concept rooms from an haute couture section to a bridal salon. With this flagship store, Gaurav Gupta also introduced the GC men’s collection offering formal and occasion wear.

This store is a perfect example of experiential design and was conceptualised by Studio Lotus, Delhi.

The store demanded a sound system which could play background music on daily basis but could also cater to special events and concept dinners hosted by Gaurav. After exploring a few options, we concluded that white ceiling suspended speakers from Cloud.UK matched the requirement. The placement of the speakers covered the entire space with uniform sound that could be controlled remotely from the reception. The system is flexible to provide 4 zones of volume control strategically designed to give a better SPL control and demands of louder music in areas as and when required.
